Coyotes

August 2024

See the Town of Oakville website for more information.

Read more here.

29 December 2022

Coyotes have developed an affinity for urban living as we have encroached on their natural environment. Fortunately, several simple precautions can reduce human-coyote interactions and conflicts and help us co-exist.

31 March 2022

The Town of Oakville is hosting a virtual Coyote Information Session on Thursday, March 31 from 6-7pm to provide residents with facts about urban coyotes, answer residents’ questions, and provide tips on how to respond to coyote sightings and how to coexist and reduce coyote conflicts.

22 April 2021

A virtual community information session was held on March 31 where staff and experts from partner agencies were available to answer coyote questions. To submit any other questions relating to coyotes please send an email to enforcement@oakville.ca.
