We Love Oakville (WLO) was established in 2019. WLO is a non-partisan grassroots organization comprising residents associations throughout Oakville. In their initial campaign, in 2019, WLO successfully lobbied Queen’s Park against the forced amalgamation of Oakville with Burlington, Milton, and Halton Hills and cuts to our Town Council.
WLO has remained committed to collaborating on issues that would negatively impact Oakville and Halton Region or on initiatives that would benefit our community.
In 2024, WLO is focusing on and are most concerned about Midtown Oakville. Statements of position and policy communicated via WeLoveOakville are reviewed and approved by the individual residents’ associations that make up WLO. In turn, WLO acts as a central communication and coordination entity.
