Director, Communications

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director, Communications is a member of the Board of Directors. His/her primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a sense of community in the Trafalgar-Chartwell neighbourhood.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Respond promptly to queries from residents (members and non-members).
  • Oversee production of periodic newsletters and other communications to the TCRA community. 
  • Oversee content added/removed from the Association’s electronic platforms 

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Dependability along with a willingness and capacity to do the work
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Willingness to lead
  • Moderate computer literacy – comfort with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Facebook, Instagram, website content management software (preferably GoDaddy Website Builder) 

ESTIMATED TIME COMMITMENT (SUMMARY)

  • approximately 3 days / month
