Director, Communications

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director, Communications is a member of the Board of Directors. His/her primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a sense of community in the Trafalgar-Chartwell neighbourhood.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Respond promptly to queries from residents (members and non-members).
Oversee production of periodic newsletters and other communications to the TCRA community.
Oversee content added/removed from the Association’s electronic platforms

CORE COMPETENCIES

Dependability along with a willingness and capacity to do the work
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service orientation
Willingness to lead
Moderate computer literacy – comfort with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Facebook, Instagram, website content management software (preferably GoDaddy Website Builder)
