Director-at-Large

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Directors-at-Large, members of the Board of Directors, further and implement policy and strategy established by the Board through active participation in Board activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Commitment to the work and strategic direction of the Association.
  • Service as an active member and representative of the Board.
  • Support of and participation in special events and activities organized by the Board and its sub-committees.
  • Attendance at Board and General Membership meetings. 

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of board governance.
  • Willingness to lead.
  • Dependability.
  • Willingness to serve on committees when required.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Moderate computer literacy – comfort with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • approximately 3 days / month
